AVID is a college and career readiness program that uses various strategies to bridge the opportunity gap for students.
At St. Gregory the Great Catholic Academy, we will be utilizing these strategies for a K-5 elementary program so that students can start building better habits for collaboration, close reading, writing, and organization.
All teachers will be trained on how to use AVID strategies, and our students will continue to use these strategies as they move from 5th grade to junior high.
