Early Childhood (Kindergarten)
Our Early Childhood program focuses on learning through play, in order to meet the physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social needs of the children. We believe children learn more efficiently and gain more knowledge through activities such as dramatic play, art, and social games. Education for young students can help them excel academically and socially. The tools they learn to use during these beginning years will provide lifelong benefits to their success. Besides Religion, and their other academic subjects, students also attend classes for Art, Music, Physical Education, and Library Studies.
Primary (Grades 1 to 3)
Our Primary Education program places students in self-contained classrooms with one teacher. In these grades, the focus is on basic academic learning and socialization skills, introducing children to the broad range of knowledge, skills and behavioral adjustments they need to succeed in Middle and Junior High school. Besides Religion and their other academic subjects, students also attend classes for Art, Music, Physical Education, Foreign Language and Library Studies.
Middle School (Grades 4 to 5)
Students in our Middle School Program are no longer in self-contained classrooms. Students are given more independence, moving to different classrooms for different subjects with three different teachers who collaborate together as a unified team, in conjunction with the special-content area teachers. Besides Religion and their other academic subjects, students also attend classes for Art, Music, Physical Education, Foreign Language and Technology.
Junior High School (Grades 6 to 8)
Our Junior High School program was created to “bridge the gap” between elementary school and high school for our students. This program centers around helping students become more independent by exposing them to a team of teachers who work collaboratively to the benefit of the students. Our JHS program combines cognitive and affective development which assists students with emotional and personality formation as well. Selecting and applying for both Public and Catholic High Schools is a very important part of the 7th and 8th Grade experience. Besides Religion and their other academic subjects, students also attend classes for Art, Music, Physical Education, and Technology. Foreign Language becomes more of an academic subject rather than a special-content class, to help students meet the rigor of high school foreign language classes. Students are also eligible to take the Living Environment and Algebra 1 Regents Exams.
