About this Event

Dear Parents,

A fundraiser is being held on October 29th in memory of Gary J. Gunning, who passed away in June of 2021 due to a 9/11 related illness; Gary was the husband of Camille Gunning who was our school secretary for more than 20 years. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit Paws of War.

St. Gregory’s would like to participate in this fundraiser by having our first Dress Down Day on Oct. 4. The funds collected for this Dress Down Day will benefit Paws of War, an organization whose mission is to support our US military veterans via use of specially trained dogs. 

This organization has been successful not only reuniting veterans with dogs they have bonded with while deployed, but they are also supporting vets struggling with PTSD by supplying them with specially trained pups to help comfort them, they have a Veterinarian Mobile Clinic Program and a Training-Pet Therapy Program and continue to evolve with other worthy causes to assist our military veterans. Please allow your child to dress down on October 4th by donating at least $5.00 for this worthy cause; your donation will be greatly appreciated by Mrs. Gunning and her Fundraising Committee.

We hope to have future Dress Down Days to support other worthy oganizations.
