Wednesday, June 17th, is the last day of class for grades one through seven. Over these next couple of days, teachers will be wrapping up the school year and discussing summer assignments with the children.
On Thursday, June 18th, homeroom teachers (Grades 1-7) have fun activities like scavenger hunts and trivia games planned for the children in the morning. In the afternoon on Thursday, June 18th, we will stream announcement of the 2nd and 3rd trimester Honor Roll. This will take place at 1p.m. and you can view it by going either to sgtgca.org/live or facebook.com/stgregorythegreatca
Friday, June 19th is our last day of school. We will have a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. that the entire school community is invited to participate in. This will be a “Zoom” meeting so that everyone may attend. You will receive the information for the “Zoom” meeting on Wednesday in another parent alert.
Next week, we will do textbook drop off for grades one through eight, and special awards pickup for Nursery, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 8th grade. A schedule will be announced later this week, but pick up will be scheduled in alphabetical order, with the exception of 8th grade, which will take place towards the end of the week. We will follow social distancing guidelines and all safety precautions, including wearing masks and gloves to ensure the health of all our families and staff. Again, a full list of instructions will be given out later in the week, including a list of what materials are expected to be returned for each grade.
